I tried booting into the XP partition using bootcamp and viola I am faced with the "30 days left for activation" message in the taskbar. I did the "over the phone" reactivate inside the VM session and it accepted the new "key" and would allow VM Fusion to start, shut down or reboot and not face any reactivation issues. I tried using the internet one and it said my key had exceeded its activations, even though it had been installed exactly once about an hour prior to putting VM Fusion on. When it came up in windows the VM Tools icon was in the taskbar and it said I needed to reactivate windows. At the end of the install it installed VM Tools and then rebooted. I bought VM Fusion, installed the 1.1.1 version instead of the one on the packaged CD in the box. My BootCamp was activated and working fine. I have a brand new Aluminum 24" iMac and a brand new RETAIL copy of XP Pro.
